The service offered to our clients would depend on the project and is tailored to meet their specific requirements.
Following an initial discussion we can evaluate the proposals and thereafter advise on the level of services on offer and qualify our fees for carrying out the work. We would also give advice on any additional input that may be required by outside consultants.
A brief resumé of our services are as follows;
• Feasibility schemes.
• Planning applications.
• Building Regulations.
• Tender and Contract Administration.
• Site Inspections.
• Certification work.
• Landscape schemes.
• Presentation and sales.
• Conveyance plans.
More detailed information relating to our services can be obtained from viewing the various projects we have been involved with, but full details can be obtained by contacting us direct.
LMP are great believers in giving opportunities for people to gain valuable experience in our profession. This is achieved on different levels, but typically, wherever possible we look to;
• Provide work experience places for schoolchildren.
• Accommodate ‘year out’ architectural students.
• Train our own staff, whilst supporting them as they attend day release courses to gain the relevant qualifications.
Residential design is a specialist discipline and LMP are proud of their reputation for good design and indepth knowledge of this sector.
Whether this is for a single bespoke dwelling, or town master planning, our experience gained over the years ensures our clients have confidence in our ability to produce the right scheme.
Our projects in the commercial sector have covered a range of buildings such as contemporary offices, buildings for confectionary production, large industrial units and conversion/refurbishment works.
Working closely with the consultant Structural Engineers and M&E Consultants is crucial to bring the schemes together in a cohesive manner to minimise any issues prior to work commencing on site.
Numerous alterations and extension projects have been carried out for our clients. Because each property is different and the client’s requirements vary, then we look to advise them at an early stage on the properties potential.
We need to take on board their aspirations, but these may need to be tempered by the site constraints or planning restrictions.
An in depth knowledge of building construction is required to realise the full potential of a property conversion. Inevitably conversion works can be more expensive than new build projects, but with expertise in this area we can advise on the most cost effective solution.
Dealing with properties in conservation areas or Listed Buildings can bring additional problems, but with our experience in these situations we can guide the client through any specific issues.
Health & Leisure
The buildings invariably are to higher or exacting specifications because of their public use or to meet specific health or safety issues.
As a result, there is usually a greater involvement from consultants and interested parties involved with the end user and so greater co-ordination is required as part of the design process.
Presentation & Sales
Increasingly it is expected to produce 3D drawings of projects to either assist the client, public or Local Authorities to visualise the proposals.
Therefore in addition to hand drawn perspectives we have invested in 3D software and colour printing facilities to enable a complete range of presentation and sales documents to be produced, such as photo realistic visualisations, brochures, sales material and site signage.
